Guiding on Kentucky Lake
And Barkley Lake since 1996
I have been guiding on Kentucky Lake and Barkley Lake for almost 15 years. Anyone that knows me knows that I am out on the lake at least 270 days a year and probably more. If I am not guiding I am checking water conditions, temperatures and patterns which you can check on my blog which will be updated at least 3 times a week. Kentucky Lake is 160,000 acres of some of the best crappie and bass fishing you will ever experience. It has 2550 miles of scenic shoreline with an abundance of wildlife. It is a fisherman’s paradise. You can get really busy reeling in those crappie during the spring run. But if you are a bass fisherman, we have that covered too, along with stripes, white bass, red ear and bluegill.
My business has always been a family affair. I was fortunate enough to have my Dad teach me all he knew about fishing. Anyone that was in Dale Hipsher’s boat knew that he was one great fisherman. We lost Dad on January 20, 2009. Dad helped me get started with this business and I am going to continue with it. My Mom makes my custom made baits and daughter Kate helps keep me on track and I am on the water every chance I get. |

I was lucky to be able to fish with Dale Hipsher all my life. He was a fisherman’s friend and he knew how to put fish in the boat. We lost dad this past year, but anyone who fished with him will remember he was one of a kind. Sadly missed by Family.

Eddie Evans has been of friend of me and my dad for many years. He has had 35+ years on Kentucky and Barkley Lakes. He almost fishes as much as I do. He will fill in when I need extra help. Welcome Eddie
